Organisation Training Options

Health Coaching Australia conducts introductory and advanced health coaching workshops in-house at your organisation's location or other venue. The In-house training option provides a cost effective alternative to sending staff to HCA-organised workshops that are open to individual registrations. Organisations are able to make cost savings on venue and catering costs as well as staff travel and accommodation.

HCA provides the following professional development training in Health Coaching for qualified health professionals:

Two-day Workshop

HCA Intoduction to Health Coaching for Health Professionals

Two-day Introduction to Health Coaching for Health Professionals (skills-based, conducted by two facilitators) - maximum 24 participants per workshop

• Costs: HCA 2-day Introduction and 1-day Review & Update Workshop Costs - 2010

Half-day Workshop

HCA Health Coaching Overview for Health Professionals

Half-day Health Coaching Overview (incl. small practical component) - This format can accommodate large numbers

One-day Workshop

HCA Health Coaching for Health Professionals Review & Update (with Skills Consolidation certificate option)

This is a one-day Review & Update workshop (with a Skills Consolidation certificate option) for practitioners who have completed the two-day introductory workshop.

• Costs: HCA 2-day Introduction and 1-day Skills Consolidation Workshop Costs - 2010.

• Catering guidelines: catering instructions and healthy eating options for in-house workshop venues/caterers.

Advanced Training options:

The following advanced training options are available, please contact Janette Gale [via e-mail] or via telephone at the HCA Office on (02) 4465 2185 to discuss.

• Certificate of Competency in Health Coaching. A certificate can be awarded to individuals who attain a high level of competency in health coaching. This option requires mentoring/coaching from an HCA Primary Facilitator and is appropriate for staff selected to undergo Train the Trainer training with HCA.
• Train the Trainer package for organisations.
